About Us

 CNC courses @
Today CNC technology is being used in all types of machinery viz., Lathe, Milling machines, EDMs, Laser machines, Welding equipment, Forming machinery etc., Amidst the stiff industrial competition prevailing today, CNC machinery have become vital for all types of industries - be it one off components machining, batch production or mass production.

UMS organises intensive training in CNC Lathe & CNC Milling which will enable the fresh engineers to master the CNC operation and programming. Apart from the theory sessions the students are trained in KELLER programming and simulation software from GERMANY. Adequate hands-on training is imparted in the production CNC machinery sothat the student becomes confident of handling the sophisticated CNC machinery in industries.

For non-technical cadre people, basic training is imparted in conventional machining first including bench work and fitting. Then CNC is taught in a detailed manner, covering both CNC Lathe and CNC Milling Machinery.

Refresher / skill upgradation programmes are offered to practicing operators and technicians so that the productivity and quality levels can be increased manyfold - by ways of better utilization of the machine, optimum programming, etc., The expenses incurred in the training can be recovered within a very short time.

Keller Programming & Simulation system
A 'Virtual Shop floor' that offers a cost-effective alternative to dry runs on the production floor and serves as a powerful learning tool for students.

The Symplus software is also a virtual training tool for programmers, machinist, and students without risking a collision or using machine tool time.

It reduces, and, in many cases, eliminates the need to prove-out the machine manually, it saves programming time and frees up CNC's so they can do what they were purchased for: production machining.
